Hearing Protection

Few places on earth are as loud (and hazardous) as an airport tarmac.
In addition to the possibility of causing permanent hearing damage, the noise generated by engines, APUs and tugs all add to the fatigue that ramp workers feel at the end of a shift.
Proper hearing protection (both Noise Reduction Rating or NRR and a comfortable fit) is a must for everyone on the aircraft ramp!
